Luke Burgess (born 20 August 1984 in Newcastle, Australia) is a national representative rugby union player who plays professionally for the Stade Toulousain.

Burgess played in the position of scrum-half with the Brumbies in the Super 12 and Super 14 from 2003 till 2007, but due to the presence of Wallaby captain George Gregan, he only made two appearances for the team debuting in 2005. He signed with the NSW Waratahs in May 2007 and began 2008 on the bench making his first Super 14 appearance mid-year. That same year he made his national Test debut for the Wallabies against Ireland at the Telstra Dome, Melbourne. A knee injury kept him out of the 2008 Tri-Nations but he was selected for the Wallabies end 2008 Spring Tour.

His early club rugby was with Sydney University Colts and Eastern Suburbs RUFC in Sydney, and in 2007 he played for the Melbourne Rebels in the now defunct Australian Rugby Championship. In 2009 he returned to play for the Sydney University rugby club.

From 2011 season, he plays for Stade Toulousain in Top 14 championship, France, making his debut in the the Heineken Cup match against Gloucester.
